Responsibilities: Oversees that the resort operations are run smoothly; ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the resources of each resort operation in order to guarantee that the highest quality of service is maintained at all times that meets with guest expectations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains implements and explains the company values and vision, developing and setting the example for the employees at the resorts, in accordance with the brand tenets.
Ensures the implementation of Company policies, and that the operation standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Ensures that the highest high quality of service is maintained at all times that meets with guest expectations.
Carries out inspections, reports and actions implemented.
Ensures that Resort Managers routine task guidelines are performed.
Has a good working knowledge of all departmental operations.
Monitors that resorts are well maintained, clean, safe and welcoming for the enjoyment and welfare of our members and employees.
Ensures that the maintenance of buildings and equipment is always to standard specified, taking responsibility for security of grounds, buildings and funds.
Pays strong attention to the smallest of details in all areas and action.
Establishes with Resort Managers a calendar of tasks with efficient and productive criteria.
Effectively manages all direct reports, conducting appraisal, disciplinary and feedback sessions as appropriate.
Sets and acts to reach goals for self or others that have a clear link with the overall resort management business objectives.
Coaches and works with Resort Managers to motivate and train them to produce service excellence.
Identifies with resort manager and Human Resources, resort employees with a strong potential for growth and higher accountability.
Monitors staff development ensuring all staff are trained and able to execute their duties in accordance with internal and external rules and regulations.
Monitors the reporting of timesheets.
Monitors the reporting of all staff holiday.
Oversees recruitment.
Monitors and reviews the performance of the resorts and its members to provide comprehensive monthly reports in terms of income and budgets:
Defines requested resources and allocates them properly according to priorities.
Knowledgeable in financial operations with the ability to set and control budgets.
Reviews the performance of the resorts and its members to provide comprehensive monthly reports in terms guest satisfaction.
Participates with Resort Managers in the development and implementation of a programme of activities to meet individual guest requirements.
Takes ownership of guest problems, solving them quickly.
Ensures that all activities undertaken comply with all relevant legislation.
Analyses information and organises own and others activity considering time available and deadlines.
Evaluates and solves complex problems and takes appropriate decisions which impact the resorts and departments.
Recognises and acts on present opportunities frequently and finalises.
Addresses potential problems and takes action.
Handles day-to-day challenges adjusting to multiple demands and shifting priorities to rapid change.
Obtains and analyses data, producing coherent and logical reports, sets priorities in order of importance.
Represent the company in:
Owners Committee Meetings and Clubs Annual General Meetings
The Communities Annual General Meetings
Resort or Hotel associations.
Resort Communities
BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH IS A MUST
