At BoomBox, we are seeking a Junior Producer / Project Manager to work directly with our team & clients to create our next generation of social games and apps. This position will be responsible for leading a slate of gaming projects for mobile platforms, managing all cross-functional aspects of both internal and external projects from concept to launch to live operations. This role will own and manage the game to ensure the delivery of a high quality product on time and within budget. The individual that would best fit this position is one who wants to be a key player in creating company wide success. We are not looking for experience, but for passion and tenacity to help us grow, expand and push our company to new heights.
Responsibilities: • Support, manage and motivate the development team. • Create presentations & reports on ongoing development progress for senior management. • Maintain relationship with current clients and communicate needs to development team and senior management. • Create and manage production schedules and timelines for current and potential projects. • Manage the live product roadmap ensuring features are scoped, documented, developed, tested, deployed, and optimized. • Manage team workload, timelines, and project status through extensive project management tracking and documentation. • Understand and communicate issues facing various types of game play, artistic and technical considerations.
Requirements: • Organized, self-motivated, dedicated, hardworking, with a strong sense of accountability. • Excellent English written and verbal communications skills (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
It is a plus: • Strong understanding of the app submission process on all major platforms. • Knowledge of game industry-standard software tools, design documents and production processes/best practices. • A passionate game player with in-depth knowledge of current social, mobile and casual game titles with desire for making great games.
