French Language Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated Language Team Leader to join our team in Tenerife in the Canary Islands. This is a full-time employment.
Language Team Leader will focus on handling the multiple facets of the localization industry, as it pertains to video games. Language Team Leader will manage a number of services, such as:
• Recruitment and testing of linguistic experts (translators) and testers • Scheduling and management of translators • Review and editing of translated works • Linguistic testing of localized game products • Translation of game scripts and product materials • Assisting translators and other editors with questions • Interfacing professional with developers and publishers (clients)
Requirements: • University degree • Previous experience in either a Translation or Editorial Team Leader/ Supervisor (managing other junior translators) • Ability to clearly write and communicate in French (knowledge of additional languages is a plus) • Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus) • Ability to work independently without being micro-managed • Desire to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
